This extensive project transformed a spacious, high-end semi-detached property to improve both its functionality and accessibility for our client and their family.
One key element of the work was the installation of a two-story lift, providing smooth and practical access between the primary floors of the home.
To address specific therapeutic needs, an adapted wet room and a hydrotherapy pool were installed, complete with a ceiling mounted hoisting system to ensure ease of use and maximum comfort whilst moving between pool and changing facilities.
An extension was also created, offering additional usable space while enhancing the property’s aesthetic appeal.
A new therapy room was introduced, thoughtfully designed with sensory and soft play equipment to provide a calming and interactive environment tailored for the recreational need of our client.
To further modernise the home, bespoke en-suite bathrooms and adapted accessible wet rooms were constructed, and a new drainage system was implemented to accommodate these upgrades.
Accessibility was improved with the formation of a large block-paved front driveway providing off-road parking for multiple vehicles and enough space for vehicles with rear entry wheelchair access. It also provides level access to the ground floor, ensuring easy entry for wheelchair users or those with mobility needs with the addition of level-entry stylish aluminium bifold doors to the rear and single aluminium widened door way to the front of the property.
The property underwent significant enhancements to its heating and water infrastructure, including a state-of-the-art boiler. The floors were elegantly finished with Karndean throughout, creating a seamless and sophisticated look.
We can provide you with everything from one piece off the shelf pools to beautifully constructed bespoke hydrotherapy pools to suit your individual needs.
